“Creating Inclusive Environments” PD Workshop.

The CIE program is now online. Program will be conducted in 8 intensive workshops on Tuesdays from 2 – 3:30 and Thursdays from 2-3 starting 10/27/2020 and ending 11/19/2020.

Creating Inclusive Environments PD Workshop

Who: Inviting COP member schools to a new professional development program in creating inclusive education environments for students with special needs.

What: This workshop will help schools learn about specific elements of creating inclusive classrooms, allow schools to observe a fully inclusive education environment, and to develop an action plan for helping their school become more inclusive.  Participants will also have three online follow-up webinars to further develop their skills. Participating schools will also have two in-person follow-up PD sessions from a CHIME professional development provider.

How: The development of this PD and the fee for participation for selected COP schools is being funded by a Charter Operated Programs special projects grant. (Add) Schools not funded by the COP grant may pay for the conference. Conference attendance costs $475 per attendee. Schools may also pay an additional fee of $600 for follow-up coaching and support for the 2019-20 school year.
